The posters are teaser posters to be sure, and are very simple in design. Recently, they have released 9 different character posters for the film, each one based on one of the returning main characters (Kurt, Spock, Uhura, Checkov, Bones, Sulu, and Scotty) as well as one for the new ally Jaylah (played by Sofia Boutella from ‘Kingsmen: The Secret Service’) and one for the new villain Krall (played by Idris Elba). With the new film ‘Star Trek Beyond’ rapidly approaching (the film is set to premiere on July 22nd, 2016), Paramount has begun to launch its promotional campaign. ![]()
